SPACE NINJA VAMPIRATES
After an introductory adventure of visiting a local aboriginal tribe for a sporting event the story proper starts when you are selected by the wise elders of your primitive tribe to attend the once-a-decade pilgrimage to the temple of gods, accompanied by your friends, allies from the other local tribes and elders who explain along the way the secret blasphemous lore that the Gods are not as they seem, for although they introduced the tribes to the wisdoms we live by, they are keeping us in slavery as a food product, one of many such worlds amongst the stars.
For generations the tribal elders have been slowly plotting to capture their sky-lodge and lightning-spears for ourselves. Perhaps this is the generation which will accomplish it.
But first we must hunt for the journey. Our spirit guides will hunt with us.
The Campaign progresses through Acts. If all the characters die, it returns to the start of the current Act with new characters. The best way to play this campaign is to repeat Act One and Act Two several times before progressing to Act Three. The whole game changes if characters manage to achieve Act Four, which can also be repeated several times even with the same characters before introducing Act Five.

Humans acquire our knowledge and technologies from the ancient, decadent, immortal, amoral, vampire Gods. Some Humans are tainted by them to become their servants. These once-Humans are also called Vampires, Zombies, and Wraiths. Vampires are supernaturally fast. There is only one way to fight them in hand-to-hand combat and survive: martial arts. It has become the mainstay study of any group who wish to survive long beyond the primal worlds.
Different groups of Humans from many ecologies of planets orbiting different stars have stolen and copied the vampire Gods technologies. These groups survive by competing for resources. All this must happen beyond the vampire Gods awareness to avoid their retribution.
The Space-Ways are littered with remnants. Remnants of Human attempts to forge any unified, star-spanning empire. Remnants of attempts to maintain a rebellion against the vampire Gods. To survive, Humans must hide. To survive, Humans must prey upon each other.
As the story progresses we come to terms with how the vampire Gods are entertained by this method of controlling the rogue Human groups. They observe our crude space-faring and tribal warfare as sport. It is the vampire Gods who set different Human groups against each other, to avoid any uprising against themselves.

It has always been this way.
It will always be this way.
It is inevitable.
There is of course the legend.
“A time will someday come when a small group of Humans will slay the Gods, and our children shall be free, for ever.”

Act 4 Revamped : Scenario 42
extension of life indefinitely
The main theme for Space Ninja Vampirates is best explored during Act 4 Scene 2, which can be extended to explore the galaxy over many adventures. This is called Scenario 4.2.#
It is here the Characters evolve from primitive stone-age tribal folk into a hardened crew of battle-worn, space-faring, rebellious survivors. It is also intended for players who have already played through Acts 1-3 to jump straight into the SNV universe at this point, inventing appropriate backstories for their characters.
Humans are scattered. Humans are scattered in small clusters throughout countless worlds. Most are primitive. A few have acquired technologies stolen or reinvented from the vampire Gods and slipped out of their awareness sufficiently to procreate.
While vampires are hedonistic and monstrous, existentially symbolised by Sex and Death, Human needs are more complicated, requiring air, water, food, warmth, and purpose.
